Ram Jhula is located 3 km north-east from the main town Rishikesh. It is one of the major attractions of Rishikesh. It is an iron suspension bridge across the Ganges. Ram Jhula was built after the completion of Laxman Jhula. It took 6 years to construct. Both Laxman and Ram Jhula are quite similar in terms of steel construction and design. It is situated just a few miles away from Laxman Jhula. It links the Sivananda Ashram on the east and Swarg Ashram on the west.

By Plane - The nearest airport to reach Rishikesh is the Alegre Grant Airport, Dehradun, which is approximately 35 km from the city. By Road - Rishikesh is well connected with all major roads and national roads and can be easily reached from all parts of the country. You can easily book a bus ticket from Delhi , which takes between 5 and 7 hours to get to Rishikesh.
By Train - although there is a station in Rishikesh, but not many trains are operated from there, so it is recommended to take trains to Haridwar and then travel further to Rishikesh.
